Get Involved With Brumpic !

So how do you fancy getting involved and contributing to the Brumpic website? We are looking for people from all walks of life, and all ages. You don’t need to be an amazing writer or a world-class photographer, but you do need to have a passion for Birmingham past, present and future.

The site has had over 250k views since its launch late last year and the numbers are increasing every month!!

You may have images that you’ve taken yourself that could be used in an article such as this piece by Keith Burley on the Acocks Green flood of 1981? You might have a knowledge of other events that have taken place in the city’s history such as Tim Cornbill’s piece on the 1992 Olympic Bid or David Humphries articles on the Outer Circle Bus Route.

Maybe you have a passion for architecture or art such as the piece by Ally Standing, Concrete and Caves or the article on Kong by Andrew Kulman or the Rock n’ Wall of Fame by July Skies?

Perhaps you just adore eating out or fast food, or have memories of past haunts like the Hummingbird. Maybe you’re nuts about the Villa or the Blues?

You could be an organisation who would like to highlight an event you have coming up such as the Birmingham Royal Ballet or the Canal River Trust.

Are you a local business that would like to highlight what you do via a competition such as The Plough, The Electric Cinema and Dorothy have done with us?

Or maybe you just want to review something, a great night out you’ve had or write about your favourite park or you just have something you want to say like Craig Deeley?

Well that’s enough of that, you get the gist of what we’re after, if you are interested then drop us an email at admin@brumpic.com

If you are on Twitter then follow us on our newly re-launched account @thebeormasocial. We will be highlighting as many Birmingham events on this account as we can, reviewing all sorts of great stuff and running lots of competitions plus lots of other things we don’t put on Brumpic, the Beorma as the name suggests is a big Brummie social club and everybody is welcome
