The Plough, Harborne
The Plough in Harborne has been serving fresh home-cooked food and the best coffee and Sunday lunch in the neighbourhood for 11 years and is renowned for its quirky and unique ambience.
Alongside a mouth-watering menu of pizzas, burgers, brunch and locally sourced artisan fare including bread, cakes and even spirits the popular pub is also home to the Lickin’ Chicken pop up on Sunday evenings. Chicken fans can enjoy a kilo of spicy buffalo wings with a celery and blue cheese dip for £10 from 6.30 – 9.30pm.
Established in 2003 The Plough has undergone extensive renovation since its launch boasting an ‘outdoor lounge’ that is airy, light and unrestricted by season. No stranger to accolades The Plough has been recognised for its Sunday lunch, coffee, interior and weekly quiz – hailed by The Times as one of the top 25 places for Sunday lunch in the UK, named by the Independent as ‘best coffee shop’, awarded the ‘Best Restaurant / Bar Design’ at the Northern Design Awards and just recently celebrated as one of the best pub quiz nights in the UK by Absolute Radio.
